The work of the teacher or a student councilor does not presuppose only the educational process. It is much more wider. And one of the direct duties of a good teacher is to help the students to decide which career they really want to receive.
If you are a real teacher, if the fate of your students is not indifferent to you, you have to provide them with tips which will help to find them the career orientation. You have to create such career tools by yourself. Such tools presupposes different career tests, games, assignments, which will help to single out the student’s likes and dislikes, the student’s abilities and skills, student’s preferences, student’s strong and week points.
Analyzing them, a teacher comes to conclusion which profession it is better to obtain in this or that case and gives a great help to the students.
During the preparation of such career tools, Internet may become very helpful to the teacher. There is a number of different tests and career orienting games presented. And it will not be very difficult for a teacher at all to invent own career tools.
Help your students to decide which career it is better for them to choose and they will be very thankful to you all their lives.
